A Deeper Dive into AI for Litigation: Why It Does What It Does and How You Can Leverage Its Strengths While Managing Its Risks
It’s time for a deeper discussion on AI. We all know that AI can read thousands of pages of contracts, correspondence, and expert reports in minutes, and surface connections a litigation team might take weeks to find.
This session takes a deeper dive and explains how these systems work, what makes them so effective at distilling the key facts from a deluge of documents, but also where and why they falter and need a lawyer’s judgment. Examples are drawn from commercial litigation, personal injury, and construction disputes.
Tali Green, co-founder & CEO of Goodfact, is a litigator who spent the last three years building a case management platform now used by litigation teams in Simcoe County and across Canada for their most complex, document-heavy litigation. She brings that builder’s-eye view to other litigation counsel, so they can judge any tool on its merits and put AI to work with confidence.

Tali is a litigation lawyer and legal tech founder based out of Toronto, and the founder of Goodfact. She obtained her JD from the University of Toronto.
